Did you know that before July 1st of 2025 Idaho nurses could not legally delegate tasks to non-nurses such as medical assistants?

Thanks to Nurse Practitioners of Idaho, Representative Dori Healy, CNS, and Nicki Chopski from the Board of Nursing, this was quickly remedied once the omission was noted in the law.

This is just one example of why our upcoming Capitol Day and Health Policy conference is so important! Nurse Practitioners need to stay abreast of current and emerging health care issues and needed policy changes to reduce barriers to our practice and increase access to care.
