Join us at the annual Nurse Practitioners of Idaho Legislative Conference from Monday, January 26th - Tuesday, January 27th to earn nursing professional development (NPD) hours and network with fellow NPs and legislators! Help us advocate on behalf of Idaho NPs and our patients!

Monday, January 26th:

8:00 AM-----Hear from Keynote Speaker Tay Kapanos, AANP
9:00 AM -----Hear about the Basics of Government from Michelle Anderson (ISU), DNP, APRN
10:00-10:30 AM -----Break
10:30-11:30 AM -----Learn about NPI Idaho (and Beyond) History in Legislative Action/NPI Legislative Talking Points/Issues for 2026 - Colleen Shackelford, DNP, FNP

Tuesday, January 27th:
Full agenda to be determined. Will be held at the Capitol. The Boiler Room (Bardenay's Downtown) - lunch will be on our own.
Capitol day will involve a tour of the Capitol, meeting individually or in pairs with legislators, meeting as a group with lobbyist and others.
