This piece about foreign trained physicians has the physician chosen to be highlighted making a negative comment about NPs.
Idaho is one of the states that has eased requirements for foreign-trained physicians in an effort to fill the gap of primary care providers.
I, personally, find this a bit threatening, especially the risk of having these physicians "bad mouthing" NPs.

May need to be brought up in terms of the legislature, however I do understand these are trying times. I have spoken with Alan Morgan, CEO NRHA about the focus of NRHA & hence state RHAs on solving the shortage with physicians w/o consideration of NPs and/or PAs.
