NPI Annual Fall Conference 2021

An exciting lineup is in store for you!

September 30, 2021: An evening fireside chat and networking event featuring health care attorney Carolyn Buppert.  Ms. Buppert will be talking about negotiating employment in the current healthcare environment. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served.  Registration is free for those registered for the conference with the option of one guest ticket for $30.  Event held at Boise Centre East.

October 1, 2021: NPI Annual Fall Conference, Boise Centre East

Our keynote speaker is nationally renowned adult nurse practitioner Dr. Eileen T. O’Grady, PhD, MSN.  She has practiced in primary care for over two decades. In that role, she experienced a wide breadth and depth of humanity with disorders of the mind, body, and spirit. We will also be hearing from Ms. Buppert again on the topic of street smarts and how to avoid litigation.

The afternoon will bring a panel discussion with mental health experts:

• Dr. Rachel Root, PhD, LP, PMH-C. Dr. Rachel Root is a licensed psychologist practicing in Boise, Idaho.
• Michelle Cullinan, PMHNP.  NP Cullinan provides the patients of Treasure Valley Psychology with medication management. She is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Other topics including hospice care, street drugs, deprescribing, and antibiotic resistance in humans, and antibiotic use in agriculture.
